Re: Zone Crossing using Multiple triggers.
Very cool. I do a similar "fail safe" strategy too. Here's the layout of my tripwires - click for larger view http://i.imgur.com/QQ7dBUUm.jpg Simple Zone Crossing Example http://i.imgur.com/eGNIYKzm.jpg Hotspot Trigger + DeepStack Example http://i.imgur.com/wZxavS3m.jpg Re-Trigger http://i...

Re: BI5 and iframes
Gotcha. Maybe take a look at UI3 Help -> UI extensions. It's not my forté but if that doesn't get you where you're going, in your shoes, I'd ask the UI3 developer via the first page of help. It may not be a UI3 thing, but that guy would know if and how.

Re: 2-Way Audio Does Not Work
Ever get this working? The two-way audio on my Hosafe camera also doesn't work in ONVIF mode. (The sound actually comes out my PC speakers, which is weird as hell.) Changing the audio stream from a to u and/or enabling the RTSP talkback also reverts itself every time, as you mentioned. Check out th...

Re: Clips from some cameras play in Win 10 but are blank in IOS
I stopped BI and via the Win file explorer I manually deleted the DB and all clips. Now, most clips do not "play" in the console. Ya don't say... imagine that. I'm sorry, I'm chuckling - I did something like that about 9 months ago and that's a bad bad move. Bad juju Tarzan. Fortunately, ...

Re: Looking for a reliable Nanny cam
I mean auto pan/tilt to track a moving object. I have a large room in my home and would like the camera to track motion across that room if detected. No you don't - that strategy is rife with pitfalls and doesn't get you anything unless you're spying on a party, tracking one person, and it's noisy....

Re: Manual updated - now shows I have evaluation version
No worries, you're in good company and we got clarity. The procedure for updating and a pretty good resource in general, can be found in Troubleshooting Toolkit -> Version Control - Software Version Reference document. You need to enter your registration number so it activates -> Global settings -> ...

Re: Record only motion when B/W
Has anyone found a way to trigger motion recording only when the camera is recording black&white (IR) only? Of course they have - Night profiles are common as house dirt. Check out the Blue Iris Support channel on YT Profiles and Schedules and the Profiles and Schedules article in the Self Help...

I'll tell ya buddy, I read that three times and understood every single word - but have no idea what it means. Maybe it's clear to others, but I can't figure out what you're trying to do and how you're trying to do it... and most importantly why. No disrespect, I'm just being honest that I'm not tra...

Re: Alert actions are triggered in the wrong area
Your answer reminds me when I talked to Dahua technical support. He argued with me that the equipment did not have a firmware problem, that the problem would be me or my equipment and that I should take the NVR to the laboratory for review. I couldn't use that feature for many months, until they re...
