Hi, can you confirm if this motion detection is triggering the recording, rather than recording 24/7 with a trigger for an Alert ? My first thought is that the pc has throttled down, and that this is the result of it changing cpu speed. Does it only do this with one camera, and are they all similar...

BI5 displays object highlights when I playback an alert but I have "Do not highlight motion" in the motion sensor panel highlight drop down box. Where else can I disable it? I'm no expert, but are you running the clips through the detector? Right click on clip in clip viewer and the popup...

It does sound like you presently have separate licences that can be used at the same time. The discounted upgrade path from BI4 to BI5 has been to purchase the extended support plan - see https://blueirissoftware.com/#support If you do use this, then your BI4 licence will be converted to a BI5 lice...
