Re: restore settings question

It turns out, for me, it was a combination of restoring the settings and then restoring the cameras branch of the registry that got things back to normal.
I occasionally export the cameras branch when I make a lot of changes to the cameras.
I'm back up but still wondering what is the best method.

restore settings question

I had a big enough issue with my Blue Iris dedicated (windows 11) computer that I had to restore an image from late 2022. I backed up my BI settings to a safe location before I did the image restore for the hard drive. After the restore I launched BI, updated to current stable version, then did a re...

Help with ONVIF trigger events from camera

Just set up my new (Dahua) IPC-Color4k0T180 dual lens camera. Nice camera, lots of features! I have my IVS set up in the camera the way I want it and it seems to be working well enough (recording) for now (more tweaking later). When I set this camera up in BI it was done with ONVIF so everything was...

Push notifications still coming through when turned off

I have two cameras that are still sending my phone push notifications when I have them both disabled under each camera/alerts tab. I've also turned them off on my android phone for those two cameras, still, I'm getting them. Background: I removed all of my mobile devices from BI and re-added only my...

Re: 5.2.0.0 upgrade - higher CPU usage for me

Same situation here even with the newest upgrade. Sometimes when running just the UI it goes down somewhat but not very consistent. Two versions ago it consistently stayed in the 20% CPU usage range.
Thinking about downgrading back two versions.

5.2.0.0 upgrade - higher CPU usage for me

Just upgraded to 5.2.0.0 x64 and immediately noticed my cpu usage go from an average of 25-30% to an average of 60% and occasionally higher, particularly when I run the remote mgmt piece. Weeks ago I followed the BI optimization instructions and the end result was a sweet lower CPU average (mentione...
