June 2024 update broke my motion zone alerts

Not sure how to fix this, or if anyone else is experiencing this, but starting on June 20th (v 5.9.3.4) I lost all classification of the motion zones in my alert list.

the alerts are still being recorded, but i can no longer filter Zone A from Zone B as the specific tag is now missing in the alert database.

i changed nothing, just noticed things stopped showing up. i went back in and checked all the settings look correct. i tried updating to 5.9.4.0 and it is doing the same thing. any idea how to fix this?

How are you filtering the list? I am running 5.9.3.4 and no apparent issues here, although I have never tried to filter the alert list, have you tried to rebuild your DB?, are your zones there when you check?

Just on the drop down selecting "Zone A" or b... to show the alerts in the web UI. Since they are not being recorded as zone A or B anymore as shown in the last screenshot, the filter does not work.

I didnt change anything, but looked at each cameras setting and everything is still correctly set up with the various A, B zones and exclusion areas. trigger source motion zones checked off, etc.

i just ran DB repair and rebooted, didnt change anything regarding the issue.

I downgraded to version 5.9.2.4 and it is working again.

How do i officially report this bug?

You are right clicking on the file folder icon, correct!

This is what I see and it appears to be all working for me

I just checked it that way and it still has the issue, see the 2 screenshots - there is a 3 day gap with no alerts from when i was on the latest version. I view most of my alerts through the web browser interface, but i just tried looking them up that way using the older version i am on now, and there is still this missing period of 2 days when i was on the latest version. not surprising because even my alerts in the program view no longer had the motion tag for each zone applied to them when it was running the current version.

I just yesterday noticed this issue, was showing me Son how easy it was to view alerts by zone and nothing was in the Alerts list. Has anyone fixed this or do I need to downgrade to an older version as the OP did?

EDIT: So I downgraded and this version restored showing Alerts by Zone, crazy I didn't notice how long it was gone.
Any chance of a fix, otherwise no need for updates.

I would start by trying a repair on the database. That may sort it for you.

Already tried rebuilding DB, same as OP it changed noting, I always assume I'm doing something wrong, until I saw the OP's post did I try downgrading, I went back version by version, actually toward the end I may have skipped one or 2 until it started working, very strange. I like sorting by zone because then I see anything occuring at entrances or gates, vehicles, etc. Was terrific when it worked.
