Hello all, is there a way to add more than 1 channel from the same camera?
I'm having difficulty figuring out how to do this.
I have an arecont vision surround video camera which is a single camera with 4 smaller adjustable cameras to make a 270 degree surround view. It does this by each camera has its own channel. 1 thru 4. I cannot figure out how to get anything but channel 1 in blue iris 5 purchased version.
Thank you

Re: Ability to add multiple channels from the same camera
So I am having the same issue as the original author with an Arecont camera. Anyone care to explain how to solve the issue??
Re: Ability to add multiple channels from the same camera
Unfortunately we are none the wiser as the OP didn't tell us.
I would imagine it involves the "Stream profile" or one of the adjacent settings. Take a look at the config settings for the camera, and look at:
1. "Cam#" - What happens if you increase the number and save it ?
2. "Stream profile" - If the above didn't work, look in the stream profile for something like "channel" followed by an integer, and increase it by one. Save it - what does that do ?
If there is no documentation, and the OP hasn't updated the thread, then some experimentaion is required. You can always clone the camera and alter that so you don't lose your existing settings.
And please let us know what works

Re: Ability to add multiple channels from the same camera
Probably involves cloning the cam and then changing the stream parameter as indicated by @TimG above.
Also doing a Find/Inspect on the cam and looking at the resulting output might also help in identifying how many streams BI see and how they are distinguished?
