My wife bought another WansView Q5 and I still can't get this to work. Any input would be appreciated.

I would post a screenshot but can't figure out how to do it here. Sorry. I am posting this answer for anyone in the future that might have this issue. Obviously the original post was from 2021.

Put in your cell phone app. if you select a camera And then go to settings com. a local application, RTSP. and then copy one of the URLS on that page.
Then you can paste that into the URL for the Blue Iris app. By selecting The network IP. configure button. inside of that screen paste the URL that you just copied. Into the first line at the top of the screen.
Then click on the find/inspect button. Let it run. At the bottom-right click done or cancel. Then save whatever that comes up with. And your camera will show color bars. for a little while, and then the video should display.

Try changing the ONVIF port to 8999.
