We have BI currently running on a Dell PowerEdge R420, mainly because of the hardware RAID 1 we're using for the 18 TB drives, where we store the images. We are looking at a new machine, with a processor supporting Intel QuickSync (for H.265 encoding), but that supports RAID 1 in hardware as well.
I've been looking at the Dell PowerEdge T150, with a Xeon E-2324G processor (or other from the same series with QuickSync, but more cores), and a PERC controller for RAID 1. Does anybody knows if Blue Iris runs well with these Intel Server CPUs, and uses it's QuickSync feature?

I'm afraid I can't help, but I know there are people here with Xeon cpu's.

Re: BI Server for 60+ cameras
With sub streams I no longer use any hardware acceleration within BI and for me disabling it actually reduced the load on the CPU?
