http:12002 timeout

I am running Blue Iris 5.8.43 x 64 on a Beelink PC running Windows 11. Other than a browser and Office 365, this computer is not being used for anything but Blue Iris. The browser and Office 365 are not used unless I am working on cameras. I use Spectrum for the internet and stream TV to an LG WEB os smart TV and a Fire TV stick. My home network is an EERO Pro 6E I have a second Pro 6E Upstairs and two Eero 6 Extenders in other parts of the house.

My cameras consist of 12 or sometimes 13 Foscam indoor and outdoor cameras. The problem is in the mornings I usually have two to four cameras that have timed out. They all have the same message. HTTP:12002 timeout on the screen. The last two mornings, 4 cameras have timed out Yesterday they timed out at 4.09.28 AM One of the cameras timed out 2 seconds earlier than the other 3. This morning it was the same four cameras and they timed out between 3:27:20 and 3:27:23 AM.

Being an NCIS fan I believe, like Gibbs, "There are no coincidences". At first, I thought that the problems were either in the cameras or in Blue Iris. My wife has insomnia and I saw that she was shutting the LG TV down this morning about 3:10 this morning. She would be turning off the LG TV and one or two UltraPro smart plugs.

I think the problem is with the EERO and wondered if anybody else had a problem with this router. This morning while the 4 cameras were down I reset the module that 2 of the cameras were connected to and they immediately came back online. When I looked at the EERO app, all 4 cameras showed up as being connected to the router but they still showed timeout on Blue Iris.

Has anybody else had this problem? When I installed the cameras on Blue Iris I left most of the settings alone and did not change much other than recording etc.

Do your cameras have static IP addresses set in each camera, reserved on router IP addresses, or are you using DHCP ? I'm wondering if the combination of mesh wifi and DHCP addresses is making BI5 lose the plot. We've seen BI5 chasing the MAC addresses of wifi access points in previous releases.

If that's not it, have a look at the camera video stream settings and see if "Skip initial MAC, HTTP, DNS reachability tests" is checked. If unchecked, check it and see what happens over a day or so.

Thanks for the comeback. All of my IP addresses are static addresses. That is one of the first thing I do when I install a camera. This morning I only had one camera down and checking the EERO app, I found it was still online when it showed a timeout. I used to assign a different port to each camera but Fooscam uses 88 foor their port so I leave that unchanged.
