Working with settings on 4 of my 7 cameras and have lost motion highlights of any kind on all 4. No rectangles, no highlights. The 3 cameras I was NOT working with are normal. What might I have screwed up to cause all 4 to not show motion indicators? And yes, motion does trigger as desired. I'm stumped. Running latest version. I'm too old for this.
Added: When in Test mode the rectangles appear properly, but only in Test.

Re: Lost motion highlights
Check the 'Highlight' setting in the Motion Sensor Configure pane of the Blue Iris camera configs.
Alternatively, check the same basic highlight feature setup area of the camera firmware itself.
It'll likely be the settings in one place or the other, or both.

Re: Lost motion highlights
Thank you for the assist. Each of the cam properties is set to rectangles (I've also tried highlight just for the heck of it, too) and the cameras' settings seem to have no reason for interference (2 Amcrest and 2 HikVision). I am truly stumped. In Test mode the rectangles are there, but at no other time. I think I'm just going to have to e satisfied that with those 4 cams I won't have the aid of the rectangles.
On the positive side, I've successfully eliminated triggering from the three feral cats that someone keeps feeding and the trigger from my front door light that brightens with motion detection. I consider those major victories. Next is to tackle the large shadows from my flags. My 22' pole in the front yard has three flags flying and the shadowing is substantial, to say the least.
