Feature Request: Sort Cameras by IP
Feature Request: Sort Cameras by IP
Can we get the ability to sort the cameras in the status page by IP address, would be greatly helpful for our 50+ camera installs that we do.
Re: Feature Request: Sort Cameras by IP
You would need to send an email to Support to ask for it. To be honest I thought it already did that, and clicking on the title headers does make them flicker, but nothing changes.

Re: Feature Request: Sort Cameras by IP
I find groups to be a fairly logical organizational approach for the status page myself. I use general labels common to cameras in a group..., typically location, brand, etc.
Defining groups based on IP address ranges would be easy enough to set up and implement in the corresponding camera configuration Groups option. Everything could still be displayed as desired by whatever group(s) would apply for viewing purposes..., which would also populate the status page list accordingly as well. This is the only drawback to having a single camera as a member of multiple groups..., duplicate entries.
May take a little work to achieve a sequential IP list order based on the individual configration editing and saving effect on position in the list, but blocks of 10 should be cake to initially organize. (Seems like list additions are entered from top down regardless of the editing process.)
Would also seem to be a fairly trivial effort by the developer to set up column sorting with the usual capabilities of Windows by ascending/descending numerical or alphabetical order. Having the ability to also just click and hold an entry to move it up or down in the list would also be huge for organizational convenience. I'm surprised it isn't already built that way.
