Re: How is a Blueiris Extended Maintenance activated

My understanding of the following, fwiw... BI Support.jpg A $39.95 'one off' agreement would be required and suffice to migrate the v4 system to BI5 with its existing key and will include one year of support and updates for that system only. Extending that support should be at the $34.95 price on an...

Re: BI 5 Feature suggestion thread

BVR Trimming It would be nice to trim and save an existing BVR section as a separate BVR without re-encoding. Allows to save plenty of disk space in home setup, if done daily to keep only small video sections of interest. When required, some of these sections can be converted later to MP4, possibly...

Re: How do I submit a feature request?

Identifying your current version is generally a good starting point as your request may already have been implemented in a subsequent release. There's also the current Help File in TimG's sig which may have information on the feature of interest if it indeed already exists. Then there's.... https://...

Re: USB Webcams shoiwng no signal? I've tried two different brands

Follow up question: Is it possible to use a USB WebCam that is not connected directly to the BI PC, just a PoE switch? Like a USB to LAN adapter maybe? I assume it would need an IP though? I do it with a WyzeCam V3 running wz_mini_hacks from the SD card using a UCTRONICS Micro USB/POE adapter. Not ...

Re: Blue Iris Closing Itself Perstistently

I recently experienced an issue with an experiemntal PTZ camera setup on a newer BI demo version running in application mode that would shut down Blue Iris when the camera was rebooted. Never figured out why, but re-starting BI as a service has been solid since. FWIW, it's a cloud based camera that ...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x

Cool. (And we crossed posts again.) I would take AI out of the mix entirely for testing and go from there..., or just roll back to your previous working versions of both BI and CPAI until someone else figures this out, or reports it as the latest problem in the neverending saga of 'latest stable rel...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x

Is the 'Add to alerts list' set to Export to MP4 files for AI purposes? If so, how are those parameters set up to play an MP4 clip instead of a BVR? Change the add to the alerts list setting to 'Database only' to see if that fixes the immediate problem. If so, then figure out how the AI things are h...

Re: The video stream was lost version 5.9.2x

Good point. And where is the naming convention coming from for the mp4s? It initially looked like \Indkeorsel and \Baghave1 were directories instead of filenames before it dawned on me that they're probably located in Alerts. But yeah, how? Unless they were originally created as mp4s to begin with o...
