Re: Alert and motion setup advice
Wow. That's almost my driveway! So..., this'll be a real bag o' snakes thread since you covered just about everything involved to make BI work even reasonably well. LOL Everyone will have their preferred methods for achieving their results -- which aren't necessarily what will be required to obtain ...

Re: Getting Amcrest ASH47-W PTZ into BI
My understanding is that after the ASH47's required configuration through the Smart Home platform initially, it can then be added to a NVR for more traditional access, though not with all features being available. There are several threads over on the Amcrest forum about the lack of ASH47 flexibilit...

Re: Can you use BI to display on a TV Wall?

Re: How to Cycle cameras on same ip address?
Is there no NVR and you are just setting these up as independent cameras with the app to view with Blue Iris? Or someone else did? They can be set up a variety of ways, both wireless and wired. Read the following for a fairly comprehensive overview of what they can do and how to make them do it. htt...

Re: How to Cycle cameras on same ip address?
It would be helpful if you could provide the model number of the DVR/NVR..., maybe a pic of the main screen after you've logged in also. It's highly unlikely it was made by Tenvis or Foscam. Narrowing down the manufacturer may help to determine the actual convention used for the stream addresses. Th...

Re: How to Cycle cameras on same ip address?
Enter a DVR/NVR IP address and login credentials just like a camera. Then specify the individual camera number/channel for each camera as shown below. You will have independent control over the behavior of each camera in Blue Iris the same as an IP camera with the exception of not having web access ...

Re: How to Cycle cameras on same ip address?
If the cameras being discussed are on a DVR or POE NVR they will all display the IP address of whatever such system they are connected to. Adding them to Blue Iris as individual cameras is done by using the camera channel number in the configuration and the MRLs (stream addresses). Very simple to do...
