Agreed. Now this forum appears to be working properly, can you sort out the basic info, then we can assist other users with general stuff.

Re: Pretrigger for JPEG Snapshots

Am I doing something wrong or is this a limitation of BI?
Hi Doodieb,

The only limitations of BI are those ideas that you haven't mentioned to Ken yet

Re: New Client / Question

Hi, there appear to be plenty of business users who do use it, but I'm a home owner with a selection of cameras, so I can't say any more than that. Have you tried the demo version (Ken - IS there a demo version for BI5 ?) ?

Re: Camera Roatation

Hi VBTWEB,

If you just bought BI4, you should be able to upgrade it to BI5. BI5 has a "Rotate" selector just to the right of the "flip" selection.

Re: Remote connection to another Blue Iris instance

And when both computers have their own BI5 licence too I believe. To do this, you will have to update your BI4 installation to BI5. It is new functionality for BI5, so it won't work with BI4.

Looking better Ken. Seems a LOT faster too. I see the spammers are here already. Need a moderator ?
