BI Consultants

Post by Therealforrest »

I am setting up a Blue Iris system for a nonprofit outfit in the Charlotte,NC metro area. Unfortunately, I am not in the greatest of medical conditions and need to find someone local to act as my backup in case of my being indisposed. How may I find a list of BI capable admins?

Thanks

Is that a thing in the USA ? I don't think you would find any in the UK :?

Interesting. The first matter is vetting those people.

Second would be granting them access via some sort of Remote Desktop solution or VPN.

I honestly don't think there is enough money in this to make it a career for anyone.

That being said, IF we could vet people for trust there are likely people here who could volunteer for non-profit organization.

To get the most basic stuff running it’s actually not that hard and many people are happy with that and leave it that way.

BI though is capable of a lot more and it’s this stuff that needs thought and lots of reading.

The forums here are just a bunch of people with a common interest so I know you said you aren’t in the best of health but it might be worth having a go and then posting questions here when you get stuck. We in the main are a bunch of helpful people although sometimes we do go a bit rabid. 😀

I am very capable with Blue Iris and have set up many installations over the years. I just need another "expert", or at least "power user" available in case I am not. The non-profit I am doing this for is concerned about what to do if I become indisposed for an extended period.
