Re: add new camera impossible

Not sure if this applies to you but I have lot of "disabled" cameras that I keep for future reinstallation. If the count of active, hidden and disabled cameras reach 64 then the "add" function is disabled.

Re: ONVIF broken on

Here are my settings from a Hik clone (Annke FCD600 180 deg)
For the audio to work you need to select Video&Audio in the Video Type box within the camera web configuration.

Re: 180° Boavision Dual-Camera

The Annke FCD600 is $89.99 if ordered from annke.com
I bought 2 of the turret versions and love them.
They are shipped from New Jersey and I recieved in 5 days.

Re: Recycle clips.

This is all that I found from the built in BI help file

"If you are running as a service, you should be
running with a named user account, not Local Service if you are considering use of the Recycle
bin."

Otherwise I would assume the file would be lost in never never land.

Re: How to rename my Cameras with out messing up BI

If you change only the "long name" it does not mess up the file system since the short name is used for that purpose. BI will automaticaly change the alerts to the new name.

Re: Prevent BI to change ip address in settings

Why do you not have the camera itself set to a static ip?

Re: Covert camera suggestions?

I use these but you would have to "covert" them. I have one mounted behind a 3/16 hole. The added mic is outstanding. https://www.amazon.com/Revotech-Indoor-Security-Surveillance-I706-P-Audio/dp/B08ZSFM5Z9?th=1 This Aliexpress site also has fisheye and true pinhole units that work well. ht...

Re: Getting Amcrest ASH47-W PTZ into BI

I am not familiar with the ASH series but have seen many post in the past about them not having a web UI and not supporting Onvif but I found this on the Amcrest support site. https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056342951-How-To-Setup-an-Amcrest-Smart-Home-Bullet-Camera-In-Blue-Iris-ASH...

Re: Camera order in group view

That "Edit layout" button has many features that you need to be familliar with. Like @louyo stated, click it once and your screen border turns green and you can drag the cameras to whatever position that you want. Also when the border is green, you can right click and get a menu for many m...
