New camera Alerts
I just added 2 cameras to my system and see the attached Alerts. Any ideas on what is the cause and fix?
Cameras: RLC-1212A and RLC-1224A
BI Release: 5.8.5.3 x64

Re: New camera Alerts
For the first one, have a look at Video/Config and see what the receive buffer is set to. Try increasing it.
Do these cameras have settings for I-frames (key frames) ?

Re: New camera Alerts
Thanks for the reply:
* Im not sure what I-frames (key frames) are, or if my camera has that. Any idea on what to look for on the camera web console?
* The buffer was set to 6.0, i bumped it to 10.0 but still get the alert. Is there a dont go over this buffer size?

Re: New camera Alerts
Quick answer is buffer can be set as large as you need, but uses memory, since you are running 12 meg cameras I would try starting at 12 meg for the buffer and increase by 4 meg up to 32 meg and see what result you have. key frames are a whole picture in the frame instead of just what has changed. I don't know if Reolink gives that adjustment in these cameras or not, but more frames mean a larger record size and more data to analyze.
Please post back your findings and maybe some screen shots of the reolink software camera settings, as I am looking at buying 3 of these cameras or something similar.
Thanks

Re: New camera Alerts
Does this look like the setting you are talking about? Interframe Space?

Re: New camera Alerts
Yes, try that at 1x and post the BI5 stream settings again.

Re: New camera Alerts
Set your substreams to /h264Preview_01_sub
You may also want to try selecting Reolink in the Make then 'Find/Inspect' to see what gets spit out.

And the elephant in the room is....
What type of system are you running for BI? You'll need some horespower to run those cameras effectively.
